St Jacobs During Christmas and the Waterloo Central Railway Vintage Christmas Experience - 2022

St. Jacobs is around an hour drive from Toronto. They are very well known for their Farmer's Market that runs all year long. However, the day we visited the market was closed. We did walk along the main street taking in their festive decor. We had dinner at Those Pizza Guys. During the Summer they have an outdoor patio. During the winter they had a few tables inside, but most people were locals and got theirs to go. Our main reason for the visit was to go on the Waterloo Central Railway Vintage Christmas Experience. I booked the First Class car that offered us comfy, relaxing chairs. It was nice and warm on board and beautifully decorated. We played games, sang songs and had visits from Santa, the Grinch and Cindy Loo. It was a really nice holiday experience and worth the drive for any train lover.
