Understitching is a construction stitch that dooes not show from the right side of the garment. It holds the seam allowance to the facing/lining and keeps the seam rolled slightly to the inside of the garment. Undertitching helps get a more professional finish to your clothes. It can be used on necklines, collars, pockets and more to keep the lining/facing to the inside.
