Weekend wandering with Matt, Jade and Teddy, this weekend we went to see pops and decided to stay at the Hoddom Castle caravan park, was built in 1560 by Sir John Maxwell, it was part of a line of defensive structures. The original main tower basement walls are 9 and 15 ft thick. Now a ruin, coach house remains in use and is a lovely courtyard and restaurant. Plenty of woodland walks that take you down to the River Annan, you can fish the Annan, you can also play golf ⛳️ it has a nine hole course well kept. Plenty of campers Tents, Vans and caravans along with Glamping Huts and static vans, lovely little shop on site with all the basics Facilities include launderette, waste disposal, fresh water point, dog excercise field, Childrens park plenty of green space to relax.
