I walk through how I adapt a Scrapbook Generation sketch for a photo heavy layout, paper piece a faux wood grain background using just one sheet of paper, and mix busy pattern papers while keeping the photos as the focus. I share tips for printing photos at home using Canva, working with non standard photo sizes, adding hand stitching for texture and dimension, and using foam adhesive to create depth on a layered holiday layout. This project features nine photos, classic red and green Christmas colors with a touch of blue, and practical ideas for using what you have instead of saving supplies for the “perfect” layout.
