With today's modern hot water boilers like the Navien combi's or the Navien hot water only boilers, it's imperative to have good water quality. The water carrying any debris or sediment back to the boiler will shorten the longevity of not only the boiler but any components included in that system. To prevent that debris or sediment or what's called magnetite from getting back to that boiler, Navien has the NaviClean separator. This gets installed on the return line back to the boiler and catches all the debris inside, not allowing it to get back to the boiler and destroy the boiler. The NaviClean not only catches sediment that falls to the bottom, but it also will collect magnetite or iron particulate on the magnet in the center of the NaviClean. Doing maintenance on this is very simple. The contractor can simply unscrew the top Pull it out. And the magnet separates from the sleeve. Putting it back together just as easy, it goes back in line and back into service. The NaviClean also includes isolation valves to make that process simple. So, keeping your system clean, keeping your boiler system clean not only prolongs the life of the boiler and your components but also can help with the efficiency of the product.
