How hard can this be? Wiring our 2021 VW Crafter van conversion

Behold, let there be light! Well, kind of. We are focusing our attention this week in setting up our AC and DC set up in the 2021 VW Crafter we are converting into a tiny home on wheels. In this video, we take you through the process we used and show the completed wiring set up. We’ll take you through setting up the battery bank and wiring the fuses when we get there in a few weeks’ time. Products used The van! 2021 VW Crafter https://www.giltrapvolkswagen.co.nz/ Materials and tools: 5 mm gauge wire for the fridge and diesel heater 2 mm gauge wire for reading lights, water pump, shower light and extractor 1 mm gauge wire for ceiling lights, LED lights, USB chargers Beacon Marine Electrical and Electronics are working with us on the van build. They help create our plan and are doing all of the AC electricity.
