Quest started, last year I brought home three, F-150 radios. In-dash factory Am models, from the junkyard. So a couple weeks ago, I thought I would bring along anyone, who wanted to watch my research progress, finding out what I bought last fall. First off I marked the year of truck I took them out of on the radio cover, last fall. 2 or the 3 radios, came from an 1979, f-150. And One came from a 1973 f-150. I didn't know anything about them ,as I have never researched any think to do with 1970's Ford, Am radios before. I have a 1977 Ford f-150 that needs a radio. So I'm not just doing it for getting a 47 and 52 year old Ford Am radio going for my collection. I haven't collect that old of car radios before. With the exception of a radio, I took out of an old junk 1947 Buick , from back in the woods. And that one is 82 years old. Still waiting to work on that one, And I bought some parts radios similar to the the 1947 one, to help that out. But they are better than the one I took out.
