Freezing feet and dry digits can make waxing toes a frustrating experience. Andy Rouillard from Axiom Wax Academy demonstrates a foolproof method for getting those tootsie tufts out first time around, using hot wax (also known as hard wax, non-strip or peelable wax). This trick is especially good for cold weather, dry skin and multi-directional hair... plus it works on fingers, too! Prep the skin as usual. If you use oil under your particular brand of wax, use only the teeniest amount here. Apply peelable wax to the top of each individual toe. Ignore the myriad of hair directions and simply paint it all on towards the toenails. Wait until the wax has lost its surface tackiness, but not dried completely. Instead of pulling the wax off in one swift motion like normal, use your fingers to ‘roll’ the strip off in the direction of the foot. Bye-bye Hobbit toes! P.S.
