This session introduces the 5 Core Questions of Media Literacy to help evaluate the hidden meanings behind any piece of media. By understanding who created the message and what techniques they use to grab our attention—from clickbait thumbnails and manufactured controversies to specific camera angles and emotional music—educators and students can navigate the digital world with a critical eye. Developing this mindset is an essential component of 21st-century ICT skills for future classrooms. Key Topics Covered in This Lecture: Exploring the 5 Core Questions of Media Literacy for smart consumption. Analyzing Question 1: Who created this message and what is their intent? Examining Question 2: What techniques are used to attract my attention? Understanding how creators use clickbait, item songs, and controversies to drive engagement.
