Yes, more people are spending time alone...but this doesn't mean they are truly alone. There are countless ways to keep oneself from solitude in our electric and stimulated world. Just because you are alone doesn't mean you are in solitude... While it may not sound logical, solitude just may be what's needed to bring together a fragmented and conflicted human community.
