In this video we explain all the mechanism of a block and tackle pulley system. its mechanical advantage, velocity ratio and efficiency. Thank you to those who support the production of these videos by funding me via / kisemboacademy to define this, A block and tackle is a system of two or more pulleys with a rope or cable threaded between them, usually used to lift or pull heavy loads. The pulleys are assembled together to form blocks and then blocks are paired so that one is fixed and one moves with the load. or; the block and tackle pulley is a system of pulleys with two blocks, one block of pulleys being fixed with the other being moveable. These pulleys, though many, have one rope which passes over all the pulleys. The video illustrates the 2, 3, 4 and 5 block and tackle pulley system, showing all their respective mechanical advantages and velocity ratios. A worked example on block and tack pulley system follows. #Physicsmaths #mechanics #generalPhysics
