How to play OpenBOR (Open Beats of Rage) Port on the AtGames Legends Ultimate. NOTE: This addon doesn't work on the latest firmware in which launching homebrew application has been blocked. You need to use an older firmware if you want to run these games. I do not encourage using old firmware, but if you are, for whatever reason, I'm hoping you'll enjoy this. What is Beats of Rage? Beats of Rage is a customizable video game engine made by Senile Team and inspired by Sega's classic Streets of Rage series. With Beats of Rage, users can create their own beat 'em up games - no programming experience required! Beats of Rage was first released for DOS in November 2003. It was not advertised in any way other than by word of mouth, yet it soon gained enormous popularity. Ports to many other systems (e.g. Dreamcast, Linux, Windows, GP32, GP2X, etc) soon followed. And now is available on the AtGames Legends Ultimate Download ALUOpenBOR.zip from https://bit.ly/ALUOpenBOR Extract it on your computer and copy the UCE to your USB flash drive. This addon includes the precompiled OpenBOR port from ModMyClassic https://gitlab.com/modmyclassic/ports... for the ALU The PC version can be found there: https://github.com/DCurrent/openbor The button mapping is: Joystick: up, down, left, right A: Attack 1 B: Jump C: Special Attack X: Attack 2 Y: Attack 3 Z: Attack 4 Menu: Screenshot Start: Start/Pause The addon includes the Streets of Rage 4 OpenBOR pak a free fan made game, and the executable needed to run it on the ALU. You need to copy the OpenBOR folder that you extracted earlier on your USB key where you have the UCE file At the root of the USB key, create a folder called "content" Inside the content folder create a sub folder called "ports" Inside the ports folder copy the OpenBOR folder (including the folder, not just its content). You can add as many pak files as you want/can in /content/ports/OpenBOR/paks/ There are plenty more free OpenBOR games all over the internet, some use custom OpenBOR players and may not work well in this one, but simply copy their pak files in the paks folder on your USB and give it a try.
