4K HDR | The Most Beautiful Rooftop Park in Bangkok | Dusit Central Park | Thailand 2025

In today's virtual walking tour, we will visit two of the best parks in Bangkok : Thailand's largest rooftop park - NEW Dusit Central Park (Dusit Arun) and Lumphini Park. First we go to Lumphini Park, a large green space in the heart of the city. The park covers about 142 acres. It’s located in the Silom–Rama 4 area and is very accessible. When you arrive you’ll see a big lake, many trees and open lawns for walking or exercising. The lake views show high-rise buildings in the background—nice mix of nature and city. One of the most unusual sights: the monitor lizards — Asian water monitor — live here. There are around 400 of them in the park (they can be quite large, often one to two metres long).The park is very old and one of the oldest parks in Bangkok (also one of the most famous parks in the city and a place many locals know). You will feel history around you when you walk there and see how the city has grown around the park. After our time in Lumphini, we head to Dusit Central Park — the newest and largest rooftop park in Bangkok. The rooftop park officially opened for visitors on 3 September 2025. This park is part of a huge new mixed-use development at the junction of Silom and Rama 4. The rooftop green space spans 7 rai (about 11,200 m²). It sits from the 4th to 7th floors of the complex, giving sweeping views over Lumpini Park and the city skyline. It’s designed as a relaxing green oasis, with walking trails, seating zones, and landscapes on top of the building. A lot of young people go there to hang out, walk, take photos or relax. At sunset and at night you can see the city lights and the skyline from the rooftop park — it gives incredible views. It’s just perfect: contrast between the calm of Lumphini and the modern rooftop vibe of Dusit Central Park.
