The great vortex around this planet sucks in anything nearby. Gigagushers suck in prey and use poison fangs. For the Meteos fans watching, I'm sure many of you were waiting for this one. This description will be longer than usual because Gigagush is among the most hated planets in the game and is widely considered to be the worst one. In a PVP sense...they have a point, Gigagush is amongst the HARDEST to use, but I wouldn't call it the WORST. I admittedly find other planets to be more difficult. So, let's break this planet down on what makes it so difficult and how you should go about playing it. Gigagush plays similarly to Mekks, in that the planet lacks inertia of any kind; stacks rise and descend at a constant speed. Because of this, screen clears are a no-go, they're just too difficult to pull off consistently. Furthermore, burnt meteos regenerate very quickly, Gigagush has one of the biggest field sizes at 11 columns (as opposed to Mekks' 7), and Gigagush has significantly more elements spawning on the field, which can make finding matches tricky. Gigagush is another prime example of a planet where instead of trying to screen clear, it's more efficient to try and juggle instead, and do so by making matches closer to the center of the stack, rather than the bottom. Sound familiar? It's a similar deal to Megadom, where juggling stacks from higher up yields better attack power and leaving Meteos near the bottom as backup in case you get flooded with burnt Meteos. Gigagush is, without a doubt, one of the hardest planets to use due to the myriad of things going against it (fast regen rate, inability to screen clear without copious amounts of luck, huge field with a lot of Meteos types, etc), BUT it's not by any means a bad planet, as it can still be monstrous in the right hands. For those who don't believe me, at least two people have maxed out Gigagush's possible score on the Deluge mode leaderboards. Give the planet a chance, you might like it after enough practice.
