Redcat Ascent-18 Apex with Injora 1.3” ModuWheels with brass rings on stock tires/foams, rubber bands to the center of the axles pulling it low but allowing articulation. Extended my rear links using Injora SCX24 Gladiator links using different M2 rod ends from AliExpress. I had to use slightly longer set of rod ends (from the SCX24 Gladiator links) for the lower links to get the pinion angle good. Stock front shocks and Injora 59mm rear shocks. Used the stock plastic drive shaft which is long enough, but I understand the Redcat Apex metal driveshaft will be too short. Wheelbase is now just over 6.5” or just over 165mm long, it used to be 156mm, shorter than my Juice Up but is now longer. Redcat Ascent Fusion, 28% Underdrive, Reefs 500 servo, front shock inner spring removed with 25 weight oil, and 1 hairband per front shock, 2 per rear. Club 5 Racing Husky Link Hi-Clearance Steering Links, Treal brass inner front portal covers (78g each), Amazon brass rear outer portal covers (65g each), Injora wheels with brass front rings (rings added 64g to the total weight per wheel) and eBay brass “balancing weights” (fake disc brakes 64g each) on all 4 wheels, Exocaged TrailCode inserts, Tusk clone tires.
