Getting from Plovdiv Airport to the city centre is no mean feat. Quite often there’s a ton of information on the internet but when organising my transit from Plovdiv Airport to the old town of Plovdiv I found reliable, useful information quite hard to come by. That led me to making this short video of my experience – hopefully it will help others who are planning to make the same journey. Plovdiv is an incredible city but it's not the easiest place to get to. In the video I aim to: Show you the layout of Plovdiv Airport. Explore the options available to make it from Plovdiv Airport to the old town in the city centre. Work out the closest train station to the airport and how practical it is to use. Look at best practice when using a taxi and the approximate cost of doing so. Document how I travelled from Plovdiv Airport to the Kapana district in the centre of the city.
