Just finished install of Zippers Red Shift 468 cam along with Woods Alpha Directional lifters and Fuel-Moto adjustable pushrods. Engine is otherwise stock with exception of Vance & Hines Pro Pipe and S&S teardrop air cleaner. Tuner is Power Vision with custom map provided by Fuel Moto. Also upgraded to latest oem Harley Davidson oil pump kit while apart. Idle sounds great. Can’t wait to go for a blast and see how it pulls! UPDATE January 23rd 2021: Recently put the bike back on the road as the weather has been pretty nice of late on Vancouver Island. Have put a few miles on the bike now and I am extremely happy with how this combination of parts works. The bike pulls hard from idle to redline and the difference in power from the stock cam is night and day. Plenty of torque down low but open the throttle and it goes! Got on the throttle coming out of a round-about yesterday and went into an unexpected power slide so have to be a little more careful as the back tire will break loose in lower gears. Also noticed the engine runs much cooler now. Previously the EITMS would kick in all the time and the engine would often be pushing 300 degrees, even in cooler weather. It now seems to run at a constant 260 degrees according to my Powervision Tuner, so am pleased with that change as well. I would definitely recommend this cam for anyone looking to wake up the potential in their otherwise stock Milwaukee 8 engine.
