🌎🍽️ Global Table | Weeks 1–6 – Mexico 🇲🇽 Welcome to Global Table – Mexico, where food brings people together. Over six weeks, our community are coming together to explore Mexican culture and cuisine, led by staff and volunteers, share stories, and skills. From cooking side by side to eating together, laughing, and learning, these sessions were about much more than food. Global Table is a multicultural food project that celebrates diversity, builds confidence, and creates real connections across communities. Each month focuses on a different region of the world, using global cuisine as a way to reduce isolation, build pride in cultural identity, and support people through the cost-of-living crisis. ✨ Through this project, we: • Build strong relationships across diverse communities • Help people feel seen, heard, and valued • Share practical cooking skills and budget-friendly recipes • Offer low-cost or free meals to ease financial pressure • Reduce social isolation and strengthen community cohesion These first six weeks celebrating Mexico are just the beginning.
