Our Lady of Good Health Velankanni flag hoisting ceremony was at St. Francis Xavier Church – Kanjurmarg East, Mumbai. This was the 4th day of the flag hoisting ceremony of this parish. In this video we are going to see the beautiful view of the church and the outside view of the church. The ceremony begins with prayer and then the blessings given by the priest to all the devotees. The flag hoisting begins with beautiful song of “Velankanni Matecha Dwaj”. After the ceremony all the devotees proceed towards the church for the novena prayer and the Eucharistic celebration. “Our Lady of Good Health” is also known as “Our Lady of Velankanni” is the tile given to Blessed Virgin Mary by the devotees and is well known all over the world. The shrine of Velankanni is situated south of Madras city in Tamil Nadu, India. On the annual pilgrimage millions of devotees visit the shrine to receive blessings from Our Lady of Good Health Velankanni. The blessed mother Mary had appeared twice in 16th and 17th century in the city of Velankanni.
