Polvilho Biscuit or also known as bakery biscuit, is a completely nostalgic recipe for me, as it brings back delicious memories of breakfasts at my aunt's house when I needed to stay at her house for a few days. She served a very substantial table set, including Minas Gerais cheese with guava paste, and I, of course, simply loved it!!😋🥰 Ingredients: 1 kg of sour cassava starch 1 American glass of milk (190 ml) 1 American cup of oil with 1 finger missing to complete the 190 ml cup 1 egg 1 tablespoon full of salt I first used 500 ml of filtered water at room temperature and then separated another 120 ml which was added little by little until the dough reached the point. *Sometimes you may need a few more milliliters of water to bring the dough together as this depends a lot on the cassava starch. After the dough was ready, I added 150g of grated mozzarella cheese to add more flavor. The cheese can be replaced with grated Minas cheese.😋 American cup measurement = 190 ml Yield: 14 biscuit units.
