Exploring haunted vaults of Edinburgh & abandoned castles in North Scotland that inspired Dracula

Took a beautiful trip last fall to Scotland where we were able to explore Edinburgh, the infamous Victoria Street that inspired Diagon Alley from Harry Potter. We also took a haunted tour in the evening of the Vaults below the city and learned a bit about their dark history. This was super fitting for the month of October. We were able to venture all the way up north to Slaines Castle that I had been dying to see since reading a historical book taking place at the location years ago. Slaines Castle, perched on the cliffs off Cruden Bay is also known as the castle the inspired the original Dracula story.
