Hey everyone! In todays video I talk about PME, which is the premenstrual worsening of symptoms of an underlying health condition. PME can happen in a variety of different health conditions, with a lot of research pointing towards mood disorders like depression and anxiety being greatly affected by premenstrual hormone changes. Other non mood related conditions like asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, and more can also be affected. Unfortunately, at this time PME is not a diagnosable condition, but hopefully with more awareness, research, and understanding, people with PME can feel seen, validated, and supported.
