Hello! I love this song so much. My preferred TL for Yume Wazurai is something like "Dreamsickness", but I left it as is because I saw a JP tweet mention that it's a homophone for "Yume was lie" / "The dream was a lie" which.......wow Update: Translation note -- "借り物の人生" / "a borrowed life" in the first verse sounds very concerning, but it actually refers to a Buddhist teaching which states that we are not capable of truly possessing anything, as life itself is only "borrowed" temporarily and nothing can be carried into the afterlife. Therefore, by accepting this, life becomes a constant succession of gaining things from a state of nothing, before eventually returning them and passing through the continuum of life. This is very fitting for Yodaka, who is (maybe) in a cycle of Buddhist reincarnation, and who upholds Buddhist values of embracing transience, yet betrays them with his conflicting desires to both preserve his serene life and to meet his soulmate once again. If I could change the TL now, it would be to something much softer, like "with this transient blessing of life" that conveys the bittersweet message to treasure your ephemeral life. Also, I highly recommend reading the event and coming back to Yume Wazurai, because the lyrics are very neatly tied into the story itself. Just know, this song is dedicated to Yuda A friend and I spent so long transcribing the lyrics that I figured I might as well use them to make something.
