Secretary of War Pete Hegseth visited Cape Canaveral, Florida, as part of his “Arsenal of Freedom” tour. While there, he visited NASA facilities and participated in an enlistment ceremony. He also stopped by the Blue Origin facilities and spoke about space defense with owner and former Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos. “This workforce—American workers, American manufacturing and American innovation—is ready to support the mission,” said Bezos. “We are so proud that you’ve selected Blue Origin to showcase what the Arsenal of Freedom looks like in the space age.” Hegseth talked at length about the Pentagon’s deterrence through strength policies at each of his Cape Canaveral stops Monday.
