This is a playthrough of Arcade Mode using Devil Kazuya in the PS1 version of Tekken 1. Read on below for more information... Devil Kazuya is the final boss for Heihachi in the game. He is a special unlockable 3rd costume/model for regular Kazuya. ===== HOW TO UNLOCK DEVIL KAZUYA COSTUME ===== 1) During booting/loading of the game, when the Galaga game appears, beat all 8 stages of it with a perfect score. 2) In the Arcade Mode character select screen, highlight Kazuya and press the Start button. Note: Devil Kazuya cannot be selected in the 2P Play Mode. ===== ABOUT DEVIL KAZUYA ===== Due to the Tekken 1's storyline being raw and "uncooked" at the time, people back then wondered why this version of Kazuya existed if they did not see the official character profiles (which were hard to come across because the Internet wasn't widespread then). It was not until in Tekken 2 (especially the PS1 version) where players discovered and learned what was going on with the Mishima family. ===== DEVIL KAZUYA GAMEPLAY ===== This is just a 3rd costume/model for Kazuya, therefore he plays exactly the same as the regular Kazuya. There is however, indications that he inflicts higher damage than regular-costumes Kazuya. ===== ADDITIONAL INFO / TRIVIA ===== His name text under the lifebar is coloured green, to indicate that it is a special 3rd costume. Obviously, this is unique only to him. His personal boss is Lee Chaolan. There is nothing in the game that references nor suggests him as Devil Kazuya. Aesthetically, he has some resemblance to Star Platinum from Jojo's Bizzare Adventure. ===== ABOUT PS1 TEKKEN 1 ===== This version of the game is virtually arcade perfect, even bettering the Arcade version in a lot of ways, such as: 1) The sub-bosses and Heihachi being made to be unlockable playable characters. They are unplayable in the Arcade version. 2) Extra/new and unique moves for the bosses. 3) A new alternative costume for each of the bosses. 4) FMV endings for the regular characters. 5) Offering an excellent Arranged soundtrack. The minor downside however is that the character portraits on the select screen are static when you select/confirm them, unlike in the Arcade where they had animation. This is probably done to cut loading times. ===== CHAPTERS ===== 00:00 - Title/Menu & Boss character select screen 00:20 - Regular fights 07:23 - vs. Lee (personal boss) 08:31 - vs. Heihachi 09:21 - Ending 09:53 - Credits 10:58 - Name Entry 11:17 - Time Rankings
