A brief history of the Ratel IFV series

The Ratel IFV is big, heavy, and incredibly loud, and its gearbox whinged and whined the entire time. However, it helped shape the course of the battles it fought in and protected the lives of those who would ride within it, suffering only one recorded casualty when it came to mines on the road. It was highly adaptable and showed the world that training and vehicle knowledge could counter the medium and main battle tanks of the OPFOR forces. As with any vehicle, it was not without its faults. It may look amphibious but sank like a stone. It took time to get up to speed, and it was hot as the nine hells in the infantry compartment, right next to the engine.
