In this video, we describe the innovative SmartID function in the MilkTaxi from Holm & Laue. In this short video, you will learn how you can use SmartID to make the individual feeding of your calves more efficient, safer and more traceable. How does it work? The MilkTaxi recognises each stall number by radio as it passes by and shows it on the display. Feeding process: The employee immediately sees the correct box number and the calculated amount of feed for the calf or group and starts dosing the milk into the bucket. The amount fed is automatically stored per calf pen. Group Management: SmartID supports both individual and group bays. For groups, the number of calves and the feeding mode (bucket or "teat bar") are displayed. Management linkage: In conjunction with the CalfGuide management program, additional information can be stored for each box (e.g. sick animal, special features) – which efficiently integrates changing personnel.
