"It's Never Too Late to Have a Happy Childhood" is Doktor's Leech's motto as he opens a haul of Creepy and Eerie Magazines, a forbidden delicacy from his childhood. Thanks to an on-line auction at Back to the Past Collectibles (http://gobacktothepast.com/) the Doktor is finally able to see what his mother warned him about. Creepy and Eerie were published by Warren Publications, along with Vampirella and Famous Monsters of Filmland and other deliciously lurid titles. Creepy lasted for 145 issues from 1964 to 1983 and Eerie for 139 issues from 1966 to 1983. All the covers have been scanned at this site: http://www.coverbrowser.com/covers/cr... http://www.coverbrowser.com/covers/eerie The cover that the Doktor remembers so vividly from childhood is Creepy #59 from 1974.
