Defense assist gives white/orange from hitting his arm, which saves a lot of time and is easy to do Lv8 bugs still require individual extracts from each zone, which is not as easy or time friendly with his movement. Lv8 assist leaves the clouds that extend 3 up for 20 seconds per cloudx3 but only if you create the clouds with grounded combo kinsect damage. If I'm not on the ground, or he's moving away from my clouds, I have to grab all 3 individually, potentially get roar flinched out, not dealing good damage. The dps lost to having 2 extracts instead of 3 is way larger than the dps lost from using the old bug. Kinsect supercharge is a new rampage deco that boosts kinsect dmg by 1.5x which is worth it with lv8 powder bugs or sever kinsect for high elm dmg. His elm resistance is bad so it's not really worth it in this case and better to just get the stun from blunt kinsect
