What if Arasaka could fabricate someone just as strong but completely brainwashed? The ending of cyberpunk: edgerunners made it painfully clear that no one has a happy ending in Night City. In this short video, I'll present my case that David is still alive, but his fate is worse than death. After the rollarcoaster that was the cyberpunk edgerunners ending, I believe it can still get even darker. David is alive, for several reasons. But him being back most likely means getting manipulated to serve Arasaka. He could be used to take out Lucy which would be a fate far worse than death.
