I can finally say that I have been at The Village Skatepark! This is a pretty famous skatepark where many famous scooter riders have ridden, such as Jonmarco Gaydos, Ryan Williams, Jack Churchward, Byron Mitchell, Nic Seddon, Sam Fahey, Alexandra Madsen, Emily Gibson, and Jayden Stanley (inventor of the Stanley Flip). While I was there, I only saw Jayden Stanley and Jack Churchward, who recently landed a flair flat! They were also trying a world's first trick, nothing front scooter flip flat, which they unfortunately didn't land. However, I did get three new learns, all to rezy: 1. Front scooter flip 2. Double fingerwhip 3. Bar doublewhip The front scoot surprisingly only took me about ten minutes to learn. However, this was on Oli's scooter (from Switch Decks), which has shorter bar than mine and is much lighter. I didn't end up landing it on my scooter. The double fingerwhip took me about fifteen minutes to learn, also a pretty short time. What really challenged me was the bar doublewhip. This scooter trick took me about an hour and twenty minutes to land once. I couldn't even show you all of the attempts in the video, as they would probably bore you because there were so many. Lastly, I landed my Quadwhips again after my Redcliffe Skatepark session ( • NEW LEARNS ON SCOOTER AT REDCLIFFE SKATEPA... ). Another thing that happened at The Village Skatepark, was that Oli got new light scooter parts! Oli had already recently replaced his Scooter Hut DNA Deck with the Ethic Pandamonium, the second lightest deck in the world. While we were at a place where Oli's scooter could be properly fixed, we chose to take the opportunity. Oli decided to upgrade to the new Root Industries Titanium Bars, the lightest scooter bars in the world! In order to do that, his old bars needed to be taken off. This was more od a challenge that it was supposed to be, as his old steel Apex Bol Bars had rusted, and the Root Industries Air Fork (that I got Oli for his birthday) was longer than the slit in the bars. In the end, the bars had to be cut off the scooter. Oli decided to upgrade his fork to the unreleased Aztek Circa 3 Fork!!!!!!!!!! This is the lightest fork in the world, and it hasn't even been released yet and now it's on Oli's scooter! I couldn't believe how nice The Village was to us for giving us the opportunity to purchase this fork! Next, he decided to upgrade his wheels from the Root Industries Honeycore Wheels, to the Alexandra Madsen Fusion Signature Wheels. Again, I couldn't believe that Oli was getting some of the most stylish wheels on the market! To finish off, the standard sized clamp that I was lending to Oli no longer fit on the new oversized bars, so he got a new flashy purple one, which matches the wheels. Over all, this was the best day of scootering I have had yet, and I hope you enjoyed the video! Like and Subscribe to scooterX!
