I spent several days exploring the Sacred Valley of Peru entirely on foot — trail running, backpacking, and hiking through some of the most breathtaking Andean landscapes I’ve ever seen. From steep mountain trails and ancient Incan aqueducts to hidden waterfalls and remote villages (made from mud!) accessible only by foot, this region is full of natural beauty, culture, and magical moments under the clouds and stars. I stayed in a cozy guesthouse nestled in a small village, bought fresh produce at local markets, and immersed myself in the peaceful rhythm of the valley.
