Sunshine’s CDT 2019 Vlog #38: Days 49-56

Hola Trek subscribers, This video is of days 49 to 56 of our CDT hike. After taking a nero day at Lava Mountain Lodge and then hitching into Dubois, WY for extra supplies and a zero day, we get back at it on the trail. We hike a total of 175.5 miles from Brooks Lake Lodge (Where we last got off trail) to Atlantic City, WY. Five miles before Atlantic City, there is a historical town called South Pass City. This is where we sent our resupply box and where we got our warm gear sent to us. Our warm gear box made it to South Pass City, but our resupply box didn’t make it to the general store there. We decided to push on to Atlantic City to stay the night there at an awesome hostel called Wild Bill’s. We waited the next day until late afternoon for our food resupply box to arrive via UPS. We lucked out because Wild Bill knew the UPS guy and called him to drop the package off at his place instead of the general store in South Pass City. After receiving our food package, we were able to be dropped off where we left off on trail to begin the Great Basin.
