Uplifting Tour at City Terrassen Bonn - Bad Godesberg, Germany

This tour of the elevators was already under construction in summer 2012 and now - being updated - finally appears in 2014. Nice houseing estate with a lot of outdoors passages to walk around. This building arrangement has been built in the late 1970's together with a Tepper elevator and a lot of Bruno Haack elevators. The architecture consists a public square which has residential buildings on the left and the right. The square is elevated and below the square there is a supermarket. Below the supermarket there is a really deep underground car park. Various walkways connect to the public square and also within the blocks of flats. There is also a road below the square, crossing in a tunnel. There are three innerdoorless freight elevators (one of them filmed instead of all three unfortunately), there are 3 public elevators. 3 elevators which are residential buildings-only and two elevators which are "mixed use": Public as well as residential elevators. The residential floors are locked off in these elevators. Further there are two derelict elevators with some of their shaft doors being blocked off by brick walls. The square has three amazing outdoors escalators made by O&K. The single escalator close to the hill is derelict, the arrangement of two escalators worked in 2012, didn't work when I re-visited in 2014 and their fate is unknown.
