Black 5 number 44871 passes through Atherstone on its way to Southall 13th November 2025

On Thursday the 13th of November 2025, the second of three steam locomotives for the week passed through Atherstone Railway Station, this time it being regular loco, Black 5 number 44871 which was making its way from the East Lancs Railway at Bury to Southall in readiness for some railtour work over the coming weekend.' Seen here running around 10 minutes early and filmed using all three of my cameras (2 action cameras and my JVC 4K camera) Also included are the stopping train that called into the station shortly after I arrived, two pendolinos (one in either direction) and the move I went to film. As usual the video ends with a sequence of stills taken from the main clip. Enjoy, Dale
