In the past, Juan Garcia has been a member of such classic metal bands as Abbatoir and Agent Steel. He is currently a guitarist for Body Count and EvilDead. Evildead is a L.A. thrash band that started in 1986, and has gone through a few lineup changes and reunions over the years, but they are back and ready to release their fourth studio record called Toxic Grace on the Steamhammer/SPV record label May 24th, 2024. In this interview, Juan discusses Evildead's latest album Toxic Grace, the clear vocal style of singer Phil Flores, working with new producers Rob Hill and Dave Casey, his role in Body Count, having a different album cover artist for the first time, and what touring might look like.
