Raw footage of the very first CREAL's real-time light-field augmented reality.
The footage was shot directly through the combiner of CREAL's very first augmented reality prototype. The virtual dragon and cottage are interactive and real-time rendered in Unity. Notice the natural depth of field (focus and blur) when the camera changes focus between close and far objects - real as well as virtual. This effect is not simulated by the displayed imagery, the optical depth is already and always present in the light-field. The focus and blur effect occurs inside the camera or human eye in the same way it happens with the real objects.
