This exercise has been found effective for MDDS (Mal de Debarquement Syndrome), which is a form of chronic dizziness in which sufferers feel constant rocking, swaying or other rhythmic motion. Small studies (Mucci et al, 2018; Dai et al, 2014) have suggested high efficacy for this exercise after a few days of treatment. Recently published research (Maruta et al, 2024) detailed the protocol adapted in this video. Apps: This app has both the metronome AND the optokinetic stripes in one. Turn the speed to 13 or 14.
