‘It Is Not My Money’: Partha Chatterjee Cries Conspiracy During Medical Test | Bengal SSC Scam

Arrested Trinamool Congress leader Partha Chatterjee and his aide Arpita Mukherjee own joint property in Shantiniketan. Both accused in the Bengal SSC scam case purchased the joint property in 2012. The farmhouse, bought by the duo, cost them Rs 20 lakh, a deed accessed by India Today showed. Earlier in the day, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) began the process of freezing at least three bank accounts of Arpita Mukherjee, where they found at least Rs 2 crore. Bank accounts belonging to several "shell companies" of Mukherjee are also under ED scanner. An ED sleuth said the agency will continue grilling Mukherjee to find out whether she has any more bank accounts.
