So Doctorbenjy is a great football manager player. Some of you might not know this fact, but he is very good at FM. You simply cannot play FM as much as he does without knowing what you’re doing. But, sometimes, you end up in a save where you need a fresh set of eyes on scouting and tactics and so on, and that is where I come in here. It was pointed out that doctorbenjy has been struggling with his wonderfully entertaining Thames save (full credit for making it fun to watch while struggling) so I had to appear to help out my friend. We had to touch on every part of the save to find ways to improve, with the vanarama national league being even more challenging in FM21 than it has been in years past. There was room on tactics and scouting, but also the way players were maintained and the transfer policy was conducted gave doctorbenjy a chance to improve his team he may not have had before. This is all the advantage of an outside look at this whole save, but it really was a lot of fun to talk shop with someone who plays the game as much as I do, that is, for a living.
