The Patrol Division is the heart of a police department, the division where all officers start their career and many chose to stay or return. At Boise PD, we're proud of the officers on the other end of the 911 call, the first responders to a citizen's call for help and service. These officers have a commitment to service and protecting people from harm even in the most challenging, difficult situations. Many of Boise's officers are Idaho natives, others chose to make Idaho their home for the same reasons many others do, our welcoming neighborhoods, great schools, outstanding arts, cultural and entertainment choices and Idaho's unbeatable outdoors. Patrol brings a variety of officers together to work as a team with one goal - keeping the citizens of Boise safe.
