This 300 year old VIOLA was actually STRETCHED LONGER in the 1940s! Eric Nowlin explains... Eric Nowlin is the principal viola player of the Detroit Symphony and also serves on the faculty of Michigan State University. In this video he tells us all about his fabulous Guadagnini viola which was stretched out and made longer (16.5”) by the Hill Shop in London in the 1940s.
