Bedford Fire Department Engine 110 and Car 2042, along with Bedford Hills Fire Department Tanker 5 responding to a dumpster fire next to a structure on Gordon Avenue in Bedford, New York. Car 2041, Car 2043, Engine 109, Utility 140, and Ambulance 52B2 from the Bedford Fire Department, and Car 2031 and Car 2032 from the Bedford Hills Fire Department also responded to this call, but are not seen in this video. Engine 109, Utility 140, and Ambulance 52B2 all responded nonemergency. Originally, the Bedford Fire Department and EMS, along with a tanker and tower ladder from the Bedford Hills Fire Department were dispatched to a dumpster fire next to a structure. When Car 2041 signed on, 60-Control (dispatch) advised him that Bedford PD was on scene reporting a working dumpster fire approximately 20 feet from the house. With this information, he requested to continue in the tanker from Bedford Hills FD, but held the tower ladder in quarters. Car 2043 arrived on scene and confirmed a 30 cubic yard dumpster on fire. The fire was quickly knocked down and all units returned to service within around 30 minutes.
