“A Brief history of Magic Five Fraternity and Sorority” Sept. 21, 1962, 10 yrs. Before Martial Law was declared, Atty. Bayani Villegas founded CRIME BUSTER at the Philippine College of Criminology, the oldest fraternity in the association of Magic 5. The goal of which the organization was established was to organize the students of P.C.Cr. thus lessening the chaos occurring within the school. They installed student councils against criminality. On 1963, Madam Mommy Lucia Balboa Villegas founded an organization on Sorority. While attending school in Philippine College of Criminology, Col. Wilson Banzuelo Relox, a native of San Fernando, Romblon founded the 2nd brother of the group, the PHI LAMBDA EPSILON on Mar. 8, 1965. It was on 1966 that they decided to join forces with CB. The ALPHA RHO OMIRCON was originally founded in the University of the East Manila campus on Aug. 5, 1976. It was founded by in the walls of Philippine College of Criminology by P/Supt. Edgar “Billy” O. Perea (Member of C.B.) on Aug. 5, 1977 and they joined M-5, together with his co-founders, Dr. Villanueva of Trinity College Q.C., Raul Morato of U.E. Manila and Ter Amador of St. Joseph College with the aim of attaining academic excellence through superior discipline to everyone, after a year the Mother chapter in U.E. disappeared as the P.C.Cr. chapter became the new Mother chapter. ARHO is the 3rd third brother group of Magic 5. DELTA SIGMA PHI was originally founded on the University of the East Manila campus by Atty. Miguel Viacrusis (Member of C.B.), a transferee from De La Salle Univ. on Aug. 7, 1968. They became known to P.C.Cr. on Aug. 7, 1977. The Deltans is the 4th brother group of Magic 5. The DELTA SIGMA FAMILY was born on Sept. 7, 1975 and was founded on University of the East Manila campus by Rolly King. It was then transferred to Philippine College of Criminology on Sept. 7, 1977 by SPO4 Willie Cuartero when the forces of DSF became weak at U.E. In the year 1979, the P.C.Cr. became the new Mother chapter. The Tres Bolas is the youngest brother of Magic 5. Between Oct. to Nov. 1977, the group was known as MAGIC 9 with group members known as the ff. CB, PLE, ARHO, DSP, DSF, LeySam, Samahang Bicolano, Sigma Iris group & Crima. They joined forces because of the struggle during the early 80’s. The latter became rival with CB, PLE, ARHO, DSP, DSF. After the internal feuding, all that were left were just five members to which it is known until today. They united the five inter-frat at Fort Santiago, Intramuros Manila as one through the consensus of the different leaders namely : Renato Torres (CB), Wilson Relox (PLE), Billy Perea (ARHO), Miguel Viacrusis (DSP) & Willie Cuartero (DSF) and different other leaders from each inter frats. It was then decided to use the name MAGIC 5 and they were bonded by common purposes; mission and vision, aspiration of frat life and inter frat relationship. The Philippine College of Criminology became known as the Mother chapter of all other existing chapter members of MAGIC 5. Since then, P.C.Cr. members grew to up to 50% of the school population until these days and were propogated onto different areas Nationwide. Crime Buster (1962)- Atty.
