12 FACETS of the Female Soul: A Journey Through Art, Ash and Gold

Celebrating International Women's Day This video is my personal tribute to the strength, vulnerability, and resilience of women. In honor of Women's Day, I am opening the doors to my studio to share 12 facets of the female soul—a journey toward self-determination and the celebration of our collective dignity.This is a journey into the essence of womanhood. After Pegasus has reached a point of stillness and the layers of paint need time to dry, so I am veiling him today to prepare the stage for the journey into the essence of 12 female paintings. In this video, I invite you into my studio and my process as an artist and mediator. My work is about creating connections between seemingly incompatible surfaces, much like I do in my mediation practice. Using materials like ash, stone meal, and gold, I explore the timeless themes of freedom, self-determination, and the untouchable dignity of women. The Inspiration Follow me to the Lentos Museum in Linz for the "Being a Girl" exhibition. Seeing the collected dreams and wishes of young women reinforced my mission: capturing the diverse facets of the female soul that remain relevant across generations. The 12 Facets of Womanhood Over the last five years, these works have emerged, each requiring its own technique and language: ➡️Marilyn: A series of four paintings exploring the "purified" and "soft" sides behind the icon. Inspired by the story in 'Blonde,' I ask: How could a woman adored by the entire world feel so profoundly lonely?
