Hello and Sat Shri Akal our beautiful family, PRE ORDER OUR BOOK NOW: https://linktr.ee/TheModernSinghs THE RECIPE: Ingredients: Approximately a bowl and a half of chickpeas 4 small red onions (or 3 large) Just over half a clove of garlic Fistful of ginger 2 green chillis Chopped tomato (either 1 can of chopped tomatoes or 3 fresh ones) Once you have either let the chickpeas rest in water overnight or steamed them in the pressure cooker, get the onions, ginger, garlic, tomato, green chillis, and grind together. Heat up oil in pan (just enough to cover the bottom of the surface) and add a pinch jeera (cumin seeds) until they brown. Add the grinded vegetables to this, and stir. Once this is fried for a few minutes then add the tomatoes and grinded chillis, and stir. Next, add 1 or 2 teaspoons of salt, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, half a teaspoon of chilli powder, 1 teaspoon of tumeric powder, half a teaspoon of garam masala, and stir. Stir until the colour changes to be dark, adding water every now and again as needed. Add chickpeas to this and cover with lid for 5 minutes. Then, remove lid and add enough water to this until the chickpeas are fully covered, and put the lid back over the pan. Leave this until the water has absorbed, stirring every now and then. Add more salt if needed, and I enjoy adding in coriander at the end for more flavour. Thank you so much for watching, and we hope you enjoy and try out this recipe at home also! More to come within this week, so please stay tuned. Thank you so much for watching our videos and continuing to support our channel.
