YESTERDAY by Valentino - King Of The Music

This photograph of me with The Beatles was taken in 1963 (and it only seems like yesterday). Around that time I was doing lots of concerts and tours with two newly formed groups called The Kinks and The New Seekers, as well as Dusty Springfield, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jnr. and of course The Beatles. A couple of years later Paul McCartney wrote YESTERDAY but it is credited to Lennon–McCartney. Often the simpler the arrangement of a tune the better is the outcome. And this is a perfect example. The very first instrument I wanted to learn was the guitar, but I ended up somehow with an accordion! However as it turned out, both my electronic piano and electric accordion can produce superb guitar sounds (amongst hundreds of others) so in this video I can play YESTERDAY on my piano and sound just like a guitar.
