Here is my Bruder trailer conversion, made to be compatible with 1/14 scale Tamiya RC trucks. The cab for this truck/trailer combo will be modified next for RC. Much of the conversion was designed and 3D printed using Fusion 360 on Creality CR10 and Pruse Mini printers. • The electronics are somewhat custom, using a Hey'OK remove made for RC crawlers with winch in/out, dig servo and lighting controls. Hey'OK modified the board to allow rate control for the servo. • Using a relay, the A/B buttons control both the ramps and winch. When the ramp control is active, the trailer lights are solid on, when the winch control is active the trailer lights blink. • The chassis has been beefed up with aluminum C-channel. The wheel carriages are basic, with no shocks, but they work well enough. • Ramp control is accomplished with a 2" linear actuator. • All LEDs are from Common Sense. The marker lights are 3mm amber, and the tail lights are 5mm reads using Axial light bezels. The semi is a Tamiya King Hauler.
