Source: cassette You won't find these albums by The Rochesters anywhere else online and you certainly won't find them in this quality anywhere at all. Some years back The Rochesters released a two disc CD set titled Pieces of the Past containing all of their classic and long out of print albums, but the quality is lacking. This is likely due to cheap equipment used to transfer the albums from cassettes. What separates my personal transfers from theirs is the high quality equipment and specific transferring methods I use. Great meticulous detail was used to ensure accurate sound quality. Using a Nakamichi CR-1A cassette deck for playback yields exceptional quality with minimal wow and flutter. Additionally, light noise reduction was used in such a way as to not compromise the sound integrity while minimizing tape hiss to an acceptable level.
