What's better? Motherboard heatsink or NVMe SSD heatshields?

Prawn here with a quick look at how much difference there can be between the motherboard heatshields you get on your mobo and the pre-installed heatsinks that come on some NVMe drives. In this instance I'm showing the Samsung 9100 Pro NVMe SSD. I used two models, one with the heatsink installed and the other without it. I wanted to show basically how effective the pre-installed heatsink is versus a motherboard heatsink that covers the NVMe port. It's worth noting a few things: 1. Motherboard heatsinks vary wildly in size and capabilities 2. The Samsung 9100 Pro is a gen 5 NVMe SSD, which means it runs HOT 3. Hot NVMe drives can result in worse performance.
